The Hoboken Police Department joins the national 2023 "Click It or Ticket" campaign Hoboken, NJ - The Hoboken Police Department will join police departments from across the state and country in the national "Click It or Ticket" campaign. The mobilization, which involves 125 hours of proactive traffic enforcement within the city of Hoboken, will run from Monday, May 22 through Sunday, June 4. Hoboken, NJ - The Hoboken Police Department’s Investigations Bureau, led by Detective Michael Losordo, arrested 20-year-old Jaliyl Johnson of Bayonne, following a 14-month investigation into a 2022 carjacking and shooting. On March 28, 2022, at approximately 7:45 p.m. Johnson approached a man who was in his car in a parking lot between 540 and 560 Marshall Dr., pulled a gun out of his waistband, and pointed it at the victim’s head. Hoboken, NJ - The Hoboken Police Department announces the arrest of two men on multiple drug charges. The arrests follow a weeks-long investigation by the Street Crimes Unit (SCU) that was prompted by complaints of trespassing and drug activity made by residents, as well as administrators of the Hoboken Housing Authority. The City of Hoboken and the Hoboken Public Safety Department will host the next Community and Public Safety (CAPS) forum on Thursday, May 18, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Multi-Service Center. The event will feature representatives from the City's Police Department, Fire Department, Office of Emergency Management, EMS, and others.
